We can only hope things return somewhat to normal as soon as possible, so we can keep bringing you world-first cookware innovations. This beautiful and versatile 3L Dual Handle nöni™ 'mini' Rondeau with matching 24cm 'multi-functional' nöni™ Skillet-lid is made from the finest ferritic stainless steel. It has no rivets, joins or screws and is suitable for all heat sources – stovetop (including induction), oven, BBQ, campfires, and it’s dishwasher safe.
The steamer we’ve all dreamed of! BIG 6.5L capacity. Long diamond holes. More steam power. Solid one-piece, wrought 3mm ferritic stainless. Indestructible.
Like most of you, we’ve never owned a steamer we were completely happy with. Even if they functioned, they were too small, too slow, or just fell apart. They’ve all been made offshore with cheap materials, and the lowest price as the main goal … and it shows in durability. Like all our Solidteknics products, our goals were: the ultimate in performance, health, sustainability through durability and locally-made, We then work hard to reduce the cost as much as we can and sell direct to eliminate distribution and retail margins. The result is the best value in the long run, even if the initial investment is higher.
Final pre-production samples won’t be ready until mid-April, so these are images of Mark Henry’s 3D CAD model, and below is a video of Mark showing how the various components fit with our other existing nöni™ pieces. Exact proportions will vary in the production version, but these 3D models are a good representation of how it all works.
Like we always say, ‘together we’re making history, not just the finest cookware’. There couldn’t be a better embodiment of that statement than this new 6.5L Solid Steamer!

nöni™ is a genuine world-first in cookware: seamless one-piece production, wrought stainless steel saucepans. Made in Australia from ferritic (highly conductive) stainless steel that has been imported from Germany (Australia doesn't make stainless steel anymore). Our solid stainless steel range is perfect for all liquid boiling, slow cooking, acidic sauces, and is very low maintenance.
All Solidteknics' cookware can be used for both professional and home kitchens, camping and cooking outdoors. Even pizza and charcoal ovens are OK because our pans are that tough! Our lids are unique - each skillet-lid is a high-performance shallow skillet, crepe pan, baking tray, or griddle for all kinds of frying and grilling.

We won't be holding these pieces in stock for retail (or any new product launches for now - they will all be direct First Edition batches only). With the impact of the pandemic, we have a great deal to figure out.

Head to our exclusive Solid Lovers Store (if you haven't already, you will need to register and email us for store access). Our limited edition products are available until 30/04/2020. Your credit card will be billed to secure your reserved, series numbered, dated and signed First Lovers Edition 3L nöni™ Rondeau + Skillet-lid and our new world-first nöni™ 6.5L Steamer. The first 20 of each in the series will be held for the Solidteknics museum archive.
Numbers are confirmed on 1/05/2020, and then we will swing into action to manufacture for anticipated shipping starting late July 2020.
Your orders should ship together. Note, if one product is a little late we will wait to ship both together. If one is very late we will ship each separately (for no additional shipping charges), so you can at least get started with one new world-first innovation!
We invested heavily in this early development, so most tooling is ready, and we don’t expect any delays. However, given the current COVID-19 pandemic we can’t be 100% certain there will be no delays. We hope you will be patient with us in the event there are any small delays outside of our control, in the name of making long-run history together.
