Thank you for supporting a small Australian team with a big mission: creating healthy, durable cookware designed to last for generations.

Unlike mass-produced imported cookware, many Solidteknics products are manufactured locally in Sydney, Australia. While our products may look simple, the engineering and production process is anything but.

1. Dispatch & Processing Times

In-stock items

Please allow 2–4 business days for packing and dispatch.

During peak periods (including sales events, public holidays, Kickstarter fulfilment, and major product launches), dispatch timeframes may be longer.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive tracking details by email.

Combined Orders

We do not split-ship standard orders.

If your order contains multiple items, including pre-order or backorder products, your order will dispatch only once all items are available. If you need in-stock items urgently, please place a separate order.


2. Australian Shipping

We ship Australia-wide, primarily via Australia Post.

Shipping Options

Standard Shipping

Rates are calculated based on parcel weight and destination.

Typical examples:

  1. up to 5kg: from $19

  2. up to 10kg: from $39

Express Shipping

Express rates are calculated at checkout.


Delivery Estimates (after dispatch)

Delivery times vary depending on destination.

As a general guide:

Standard

  1. Metro: 2–7 business days

  2. Regional / remote: longer

Express

  1. Metro: 1–3 business days

  2. Regional / remote: longer

Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.


3. International Shipping

We ship internationally to most destinations. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on parcel size, weight, and destination.

Estimated Delivery Time (after dispatch)

International orders typically arrive within 6–20 business days, depending on destination, customs processing, and local delivery services. Transit delays outside our control may occur.

Duties, Taxes & Import Charges

International customers are responsible for all applicable import duties, taxes, customs fees, and local charges unless otherwise stated at checkout.

USA Orders: For applicable US orders, duties and import charges are collected at checkout where required.


4. Pre-Orders & Backorders

Many Solidteknics products are offered on pre-order or backorder while our manufacturing team completes the next production run.

Estimated dispatch windows are shown on the product page at the time of purchase and may also appear in your order confirmation. These dates are estimates only.

While we do our best to meet projected timelines, manufacturing delays can occasionally occur.

If a material delay arises, we will communicate an update. Orders containing backordered or pre-order items will ship in full once all items are ready.


5. Tracking & Delivery

Tracking details are emailed once your order is dispatched. For Australian orders, we recommend using the Australia Post App for real-time updates.

International customers may obtain more accurate local tracking by entering their tracking number with their country’s postal provider.


6. Shipping Address Accuracy

Please ensure your delivery address is correct at checkout. If you need to update your address, contact us immediately. Email and a mobile phone number is best practice for accurate tracking.

Once an order has been packed or dispatched, address changes may not be possible.

Solidteknics is not responsible for delivery issues arising from incorrect address information provided at checkout.


7. Lost, Delayed or Damaged Parcels

Once an order has been handed to the shipping carrier, delivery timing and handling are outside our direct control. However, we will assist where we reasonably can.

Delayed parcels

If tracking appears stalled or unusually delayed, please contact us and we’ll assist with carrier investigation.

Lost parcels

If a parcel is confirmed lost in transit, we will work with the shipping provider to investigate and resolve the matter in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Damaged deliveries

If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us promptly with:

  1. photos of packaging

  2. photos of damaged goods

  3. your order details

This helps us resolve the issue quickly.


8. Delivered Parcels

If a carrier marks a parcel as delivered, delivery is considered complete to the address supplied at checkout.

If you cannot locate your parcel, please first:

  1. check around your property

  2. check with household members

  3. check with neighbours

  4. contact your local post office or delivery provider

If further assistance is needed, contact our team.


9. Returned / Unclaimed Parcels

If a parcel is unclaimed, refused, or returned to sender, we can assist once it arrives back at our warehouse.

Available options may include:

  1. reshipping the order (additional shipping charges apply)

  2. refunding the order less original shipping costs, merchant fees, and applicable processing costs


10. Checking Your Order Status

You can check your order status anytime by logging into your Solidteknics account under My Orders. Common order statuses:

Backorder = item is still in production

Pick = queued for warehouse packing

Hold = queued for warehouse order sorting

If your order contains multiple items, dispatch will occur once all items are ready.


11. Returns & Warranty

Returns are handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and our published returns policy.

Please note:

  1. change-of-mind refunds are not generally offered

  2. approved exchanges may be accepted for unused items in as-new condition

  3. international duties/taxes remain the customer’s responsibility

  4. warranty applies only to genuine manufacturing or material defects

Our warranty does not cover misuse, overheating, improper care, seasoning issues, rust caused by neglect, or normal wear.
