Kickstarter exists to help bring creative projects to live. It is not a store. Backers pledge to projects to help them come to life and support a creative process. To thank their backers for their support, project creators offer unique rewards.
It's a platform where Solidteknics supporters can support our creative process to help us bring new innovations to life. Rewards are our chance to share a piece of our project with our backer community - limited & stamped FIRST edition pieces
Everything on Kickstarter must be a project with a clear goal, like our cookware. A project will be live for a set period of time, and once completed, we then move into local production.
Kickstarter is a third party platform for crowdfunding that Solidteknics utilises to bring new innovations to life. This is independent of our online store.
We are proud to do business differently. Our business is built on and with our community. Each product available to purchase on our store has been through the Kickstarter crowdfunding experience - from our very first launch back in 2014 to now. We've launched and funded over 35 Kickstarter projects, delivering every single one of them. Kickstarter allows us to keep manufacturing in Australia viable, and in return, we offer our backers the lowest possible price to say thank you for their support. Visit our project, watch the video, and read through the campaign. If it speaks to you and you'd like to support it, click the green “Back this project” button on the page. Alternatively, you can scroll down to select a reward tier. If you don't want a specific reward, select the "Pledge without a reward" tier at the top and enter your desired pledge amount.
If our project is successfully funded (ie has reached $20,000 or more across the 30 day period), Kickstarter will debit the funds from your nominated card as soon as the campaign has ended.
There is a 7-day window following the project's deadline for collecting and processing pledges.
Once the 7-day window has passed, your pledge will automatically drop and you'll no longer be a backer.

You can only pledge to a project once per email address. Accordingly, backers can only choose one base reward tier per pledge. However you can add any additional rewards/pans using the Add-Ons feature.
To add additional rewards/ ADD-ONs:
Log in to your account and click 'Manage pledge'. This will then show the below screen with 'Current Reward' highlighted in a blue box - this is your current base reward.
2. Click PLEDGE in the lower right-hand corner (green box, highlighted in yellow) on your existing base reward.
3. This will then take you to the screen below.
REWARD (highlighted in yellow) shows your base reward. Below under the title 'ADD-ONs' (highlighted), select 'ADD' (highlighted) from the list of ADD ONs. This will add the selected pan to your base reward. This is where you will also be able to remove/change any of your ADD-ONs.
To change your base reward:
1. Log in and click 'Manage pledge'
2. You will then see the below screen, with your Current Reward highlighted in the blue box. To change your reward, simply select another reward from the list below.
Whilst the project is still 'live' visit the project page and click the “Manage your pledge” button that appears next to your pledge amount.
On the next page, select "Change your pledge," and then change your selection. Just a reminder that it's only possible to select one reward tier at a time.
When you initially pledge, we don't collect or store your shipping information at the checkout. Instead, once our project is successfully completed, we will reach out with a survey, sent directly by Kickstarter, to request any information we need to fulfill our rewards.
This includes your shipping address.

We don't tend to send surveys right away; we do wait until we are close to being ready to deliver rewards. If you think you might have missed a survey email, please log in to your Kickstarter account to check.
When viewing the site through a desktop browser, you’ll see a notification at the top of the page for any surveys awaiting response. On our iOS and Android apps, you can access any pending surveys via your Activity feed.
Once you complete a survey through Kickstarter, you'll receive an email confirmation that includes a copy of your responses.
If you have moved or changed your address since backing our Kickstarter campaign, you'll need to update your address. We have intentionally left the Kickstarter survey open allowing you to manage your delivery details as needed.
