Made from a single sheet of 2mm-thick non-nickel stainless steel and clean Aussie iron, our new Baking Trays are lighter than our flagship range for optimal usability.

We've seen your requests and listened to your feedback, so we are excited to be offering the AUS-ION™ Baking Trays in two options: our standard Quenched pre-seasoned finish, and our original RAW un-seasoned finish for the first time in three years! Whilst our Quenched finish is preferred by many for its ease and convenience, some enjoy the process of seasoning from scratch. If you're one of those people, then this is for you!
Our raw finish is just that - completely raw, smooth and unseasoned iron, ready for your at-home oven seasoning. Once well seasoned and used, there will be no noticable difference between your once raw baking tray, and our natural Quenched seasoned finish trays. Both offer the same world-leading performance with a healthy, natural, forever-renewable non stick.
With a 2cm depth, our new Baking Trays are a classic style, great for fries in the oven, roasting meats and vegetables, foccacia, sheet cakes and roulades, and anytime a bit of liquid/juice is required. From the oven to the BBQ, to the pizza oven, to the campfire – these Baking Trays have got you covered!
Our new Baking Trays can be used as both stand-alone baking trays and can also double as lids for your Roasting Pans. This means they can be used to create a steaming or slow-cooking effect, covering the lid in coals for even cooking on the fire. Please note, if used as a lid with the Roasting Pan when full, it will be heavy so care should be taken.

Our nöni™ Baking Tray is made from ferritic, non-nickel stainless steel. The nöni™ Baking Tray is very low maintenance as it does not require seasoning and they are dishwasher friendly - cooks like iron, cleans like stainless! Like all stainless, nöni™ is not considered 'non-stick' though can work well with the right balance of heat and fat. nöni™ is ideal for all your everyday dishes, liquid boiling, slow cooking, acidic sauces, and is very low maintenance.
AUS-ION™ is made from clean Australian iron. Just like old cast iron, you season AUS-ION™ to build and maintain your own healthy, naturally non-stick surface. AUS-ION™ is perfect for low and slow cooking, oil/fat-based frying, grilling, roasting, baking etc. Whilst you can cook anything at all in our AUS-ION™, acidic foods and liquids can erode the seasoning. Though the beauty of seasoned iron is it's forever renewable!

Our new Baking Trays are part of our lightning range, made from 2mm-thick material. They're 30% lighter than our standard 3mm material for better usability in the kitchen - especially when handling a full tray!
They'll also heat faster than our flagship 3mm for better energy efficiency, requiring less energy for the same great performance.
Our new Baking Trays are the perfect pieces for all of your oven, fire and BBQ cooking needs! It can go seamlessly from baking chicken or a brownie slice in the oven to roasting up some veggies over the campfire.

This ensures the highest quality of manufacturing possible, while also supporting local jobs and communities. We know the name 'Baking Trays' will be familiar to many of you, as this is what we previously called our flat Baking Sheet. For the sake of accuracy, we have renamed our flat trays "Baking Sheets", to better reflect their flat, edgeless sheet design. Our new four-sided trays will now be referred to as our Baking Trays, to best reflect their shallow walled design that is more commonly associated with the term 'baking tray'. We know this may cause some confusion at first, though we feel these name changes better reflect the designs.
Pre-orders close 11:59pm Monday 12th February, 2024 (AEST), with our first production run estimated to start shipping June 2024 for AUS-ION™ trays, and July for nöni™.
We make it our business to bring innovation to the world, and it's you that has access to it first. We are thrilled we can be so close to our early adopters. We do our best to set realistic timelines, however, with innovation often comes unpredictable challenges. We suggest that you only back our new launches if you are willing to go on our innovative journey with us - which may encounter speed bumps from time to time. Otherwise, you are best to wait for the pieces to reach our online 'buy now' store as by that stage, we have ironed out the manufacturing method.
