Thank you so much for your patience. We know it’s been a little while since our last update, and we appreciate your support while our small team has been stretched behind the scenes.
We wanted to share a progress update on the Modüla™ Trilobite Mount.
As mentioned previously, we made the decision to split orders to help minimise further delays where possible.
As a small Australian manufacturer, we rely on specialist subcontractors for complex projects like this, and they in turn rely on their own subcontractors. Toolmakers in Australia are under extreme pressure, with many having disappeared through offshoring. It’s a dying trade, but a vital one for Australia’s manufacturing future, and one we’re proud to be helping keep alive.
The Trilobite is a particularly complex innovation, requiring a high level of tooling precision and multiple specialist partners. While this has created delays, please know the project has continued moving forward in the background.
At this stage, our Sydney production partner is hopeful to commence the first off-tool trials in around 3 weeks. Provided those trials are successful, production from there should move relatively quickly.

Our production team has been busting their butts to bring this innovation to life (honestly, they’re over-achievers and we’re not mad about it). We’re just waiting on our next batch of woks to roll through production before they head into polishing too, then it’s all hands on deck packing your orders late next week.
