Replaced my new SS set

By: on 13 May 2023
I had just brought a new SS set of saucepans and then I was lucky enough to win this piece from Solidtecknics...... 1 month later, I was buying more Noni and gave the SS set to my sister. This pot heats so quickly in approx 1 min to boil water. The perfect size for pasta and rice sides.

Handy pair.

This is a nice sized saucepan for everyday use, and the lid makes a great crepe pan, - or for my first use, cooking home made corn tortillas and Arrapas. No need to worry about seasoning the pan, just use and chuck it in the dishwasher if you need to. A couple of points to consider, these heat up really quickly, and the retain that heat very well, so prepare to char the first couple of things you cook if you're not careful. Once used to their characteristics however, they are a joy to use. The second thing is, reading the ST Facebook page, you will find many folk recommending "Bar Keepers Friend" for cleaning these if you do get caught out and burn something. It is as good as they say, so get a small tub to keep everything clean and sparkly!

Love the nöni

By: on 9 May 2023
We purchased this after looking for a while for good quality stainless steel cookware. If I'm being honest my partner John loves Ducati's so he couldn't resist the story of the founder Mark James Henry racing Ducati Superbikes in the 'States and designing carbon fibre subframes for motorbikes (!). I believe his exact words were: "we need to buy that pot the man used to race Ducati's". Can't recommend this enough. It's easily the finest cookware we have ever bought, you can see the quality. Do yourself and favour and grab a nöni.

For everything!

Bung in the oven for some quick weekday roasties. On the stove to boil some eggs. Pasta dishes, sauces, poaching - for those times you need something with a higher side just to not make a mess!

Versatile pot and lid.

By: on 9 May 2023
A great sized pot not only for boiling and simmering vegetables, but also for a meal for one. Brown on the stovetop, add extras, lid on or off, into the oven or on the stovetop. And the lid is perfect for crepes, pancakes and even a small batch of scones. And then into the dishwasher.

Got to stove top utensil

By: on 9 October 2019
This was a gift. The recipient uses the pan for nearly everything cooked on the stove top. Replaces a lot of less than ideal not stick utensils.
