What is seasoning?

Seasoning is the process of building your own natural non-stick surface just using heat and oil. No toxic, synthetic coatings, just a healthy cooking surface that’s forever renewable, so you’ll never need to replace a pan again. Please note: all of our pans have a carefully engineered concave built in. This is normal with all heavy based iron and steel pans, to allow for movement when heated. To learn more about our concave and why it’s important, CLICK HERE

Great pan

We bought this to replace our old cast-iron pan which had become very warped. Glad I read the instructions ahead of time to know to go gently with these on induction cooktops so we don't end up with the same problem! We've had this pan about a month now and I'm very happy with its strength, lightness and cleanability. Feels like we will have this for a good long time. Love that it's made in Australia, too!

So excited!

I have purchased a raw Sauteuse pan as a gift for my daughter's birthday next month. Therefore, the pan is still in it's box (except when I take it out to admire it). I am so excited to have found this product which has been cleverly and thoughtfully designed and manufactured here in Australia! Congratulations Solid Technics!
